Ruševine utjelovljuju tjeskobu o starenju, komemorirajući i kulturna dostignuća i neuspjehe.1

Urban life in the limbo between life and death, Rijeka’s “sleeping” spaces and their weird existence are the focus of the art intervention by Miron Milić. It takes place in an old ruin in Gomila, one of the Rijeka’s busiest parking lots, located in the old town.  The ruin stands as a reminder of ungainly periods of the past, in contrast with pictures of smooth historical progress… Ruins possess an awkward anatomic agreement of nature, architecture and human body. They express the anxiety of aging, commemorating cultural achievements and failures.
Milić uses the front of the Gomila ruin as the base for a mural that attracts bypassers with genre scenes. In the alienated environment of asphalt and wheels, the artist depicts a series of tenant scenes that may be happening behind the decayed walls.
